Information and Technology Services at the University of Michigan offers an internship program each summer. ITS Internships are paid, full-time positions that provide an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience while making connections in the professional field they are considering for a career. Interns have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a structured and supervised learning program.

The ITS Internship Program is a paid 14-week learning experience where you will be immersed in U-M’s innovative central IT organization where we directly support those who are trying to change the world. You are guaranteed to gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect the University, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees that are experts in their field.
